We believe great talent drives great student outcomes.
TruFit was built on a simple conviction: the people in our schools are the most important factor in student success — and we can do better at finding, developing, and keeping them.
Why we built TruFit
After decades in education and talent assessment, we kept seeing the same pattern: districts would invest enormously in curriculum, technology, and facilities — but leave their most important decisions to chance. Hiring was driven by resumes, gut feelings, and 30-minute interviews that couldn't predict whether someone would actually thrive.
We watched talented educators end up in the wrong roles, struggling not because they lacked ability, but because no one had the tools to see where they'd actually excel. We watched districts cycle through vacancies, spending tens of thousands on turnover while students paid the price in lost continuity and instability.
That's when the frame clicked: every educator moves through an arc — from early exploration, through preparation and launch, into mastery and often leadership. Fit isn't a fixed trait. A brilliant fifth-year teacher hitting their stride in one context may be completely wrong for an emerging leadership role in another. The question was never "are they qualified?" — it was "where are they in their arc, and does this role meet them there?"
TruFit exists to answer that question. We built a platform that reveals how educators actually think, lead, and problem-solve — through authentic, role-relevant simulations that show real performance, not just credentials. Because the right educator matched to the right role changes everything: for the educator, for the team, and most importantly, for students.
